Not sure what to say?

A group of us, including Terry, were studying for an engineering physics exam at the University of Connecticut, Storrs Connecticut around 1966 and we were all stressed out. All except Terry. He had this huge grin on his face and I asked him how he could take this exam so calmly. "I am going to see Judy (Squires) this weekend" was his reply. If you remember a line from a popular song "Two hearts beat as one", that's what made me think of Terry and Judy this week.

Judy, Sean, Mike and Megan, Its with a heavy sadness in my heart when I learned of Terry's passing. He was a true friend, my first friend in CT. We had many laughs about how he and Judy became our friends, but it was one of the best moments of our life in CT. We shared so many laughs in life , in golf and about our kids. He will be missed by Trudy and I every day, but he will be in our memory forever. Sorry we could't be there for the wake, but we were with you all in spirit. Love, Joe...

To the McCarthy Family, please except my condolences on the passing of Terry. He was a great Golfer and friend, when we were in the Enfield Golf League, I will miss his Humor and expert advice on Golfing.

I worked with Terry for 25 years. Terry always had time for some conversation, words of wisdom and humor. A real Gentleman. My thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

Sympathies and condolences to the family.

In my experience, Terry was a genuine nice guy. He treated those who worked for him as peers and he was always willing to stand up for what he believed in. It was a pleasure to work with him. He will be sadly missed in many circles.
