United States Army

Hard to believe we laid you to rest seven years ago. By the grace of God and the caring people at Arlington cemetery, Mom has been laid to rest within steps of you. May you both rest in peace and I will continue to honor you and your legacy through love of our country and in service to others. Love you forever, my brother, my Wonderwall.

We do remember him. He was a wonderful Daddy to our granddaughter and she adored him. He was a good man whom we believe suffered from PTSD and passed too young. We still talk about the sorrow for his daughter and family and wish we had understood what happened to him.

I will continue our tradition of cheering for the Chiefs, listening to rock from the eighties and nineties, and helping others to stay United States Army Strong. Godspeed to my first brother, and fellow Quartermaster, who always stood up for me.

It´s been five years since we laid you to rest in the beautiful Arlington National Cemetery - a place of honor that you cherished with each visit. Seems like yesterday. Our love for you will last forever and grows each day.

My heart goes out to the Oakley family. Terry was my best friend in high school and I still remember the amazing friendship we had to this day, 30 something odd years later. Peace be with you.

My condolences to all who loved Terry- a true patriot and fellow Soldier.

Our sincere condolence to the Oakley family. Rest in peace Terry.

He meant so much to our granddaughter Noelle. She adored her Daddy. We are saddened at his passing and remember him as a devoted Dad. Our condolences to his family. May your soul Rest in peace, Terry.
