Not sure what to say?

I had the privilege of meeting Texas while working at the Village of Southampton. I will cherish the conversations and time I shared with her. Her kind heart and warm presence made me feel she was a good friend. She will be remembered dearly.

The prettiest face and friendliest smile at 90. Glad to have made the acquaintance. Rest in Peace.

I was acquainted with Texas at church of St. John the Divine. She was a lovely lady with a sweet spirit! God´s peace to her family and friends.

My deepest condolences for the loss of your loved one. May all of her beautiful memories always bring you comfort.

I was very, very sad when I heard of Texas' passing. She was a friend and fellow worker in real estate. She was amazing, smart, friendly, darling and successful at whatever she undertook. Prayers go to the family, of whom she was very proud.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

I was very sad to hear of Texas's passing. She was a classy and kind person. As a builder, I loved the occasions when she had a listing or represented a buyer. She was good to deal with in business and had an interesting personal life. She told me how proud she was of her children! Carol Gradziel

I was a graduate student at Rice with Texas. My interest in urban archeology was awakened by working with her both in the field and in publishing collaborations on her Ashton Villa project in Galveston. Those experiences served me well in my subsequent decades of archeological work in Houston and elsewhere. I shall remember her as a keen, creative intellect and a kind and generous person.

Texas and I were grad students together at Rice University, and our boys were friends in preschool. We´d lost touch in recent years, but I always considered her a dear friend. My condolences to Mel, Wes and Eric and her other loved ones
