Not sure what to say?

I wanted to extend my deepest sympathies to the entire Abernathy family. I had known Thad since the sixth grade, at Harrand Creek Elementary School, and had the pleasure of getting to know him until we graduated together in 1993. He was warm and friendly to everyone he encoutered. I remember his smile most of all. I hope that all of the good memories you have of Thad will help you through this difficult period. My prayers are with you all.

Mrs. Abernathy, My heart sank as I read the obituary. My heart and my prayers went out to you. I didn't know Thad personally, but I do know the wonderful mother he had. May God blanket you with peace/understanding.

We are so sorry for your loss. We will keep you in our prayers, may God Bless & comfort you during this time. Sincerely, Mr. & Mrs. William Harris, Sr., Ken Harris & Mr. & Mrs. WIlliam(Bill) Harris, Jr.

Dear Ragan,
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Thad was truly a good friend and will be dearly missed.

Thad will truly be missed. He was always the epitome of joy, kindness and integrity...a man of honor. I had the pleasure of working with him for about a year while he called on a doctors office that I worked at in the Birmingham area. I pray strength and peace for his family and dearest friends, now and always.

To the Abernathy Family,

I am saddened to hear about Thad's passing. I was Thad's teammate at Alabama and we use to compete against each other everyday in practice as he was a wide receiver and I was a defensive back. Thad was a great friend and a joy to be around. Every time I saw him, he always had a smile on his face. He will definitely be missed. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May God continue to comfort you during this difficult time.

Coach and Family,

I am truly sorry for your loss. I hope that God covers you in His blood to bring you and your family peace. Take care.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help at this time.
