Not sure what to say?

Ted and I were at Auburn at the same time----Some of my most memorable days are those Saturday games watching Auburn at Ted and Juie's home---Another Auburn great, Jack Burkett was there---He and Ted would give mock demonstrations about how to block and tackle while remarking that young players simply did not do it correctly---I consider one of the most memorable times of my life was being at Ted's and Juie's home on a Saturday watching Auburn games---I miss him greatly---Max Shumack

My first year at Auburn was 1957---The same year Ted and his team mates made number 1---Ted and Juie invited Sherrie and I to watch games at their home and those memories will always be special--My best memory will always be when that little granddaughter no more than age 5 interupted Ted's demonstration about how to tackle an opponent by crawling up into his lap to get his attention---I consider myself blessed to know and to be with him and his family here in Gulf Breeze

Ted,
Your father's life resembles a true Horacio Alger story! His accomplishments never affected his modesty and generosity. Moreover, the success of his children is further testimony of his legacy. His loss to those who loved and respected him is beyond measure, and to them we extend our condolences.

We are praying for the Forets as you begin experiencing a "new normal". Mr. Ted will be missed, but continued to be loved by all who knew him! May God's peace and goodness forever be in you hearts.

Juie and family. I am so sorry to hear that Ted passed. I know he was your best friend and you will be lost without him. We loved coming to your house, visiting with you all and all the wonderful times we spent together. I think of you all often. Please take care of each other. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Love you all.

We were so sorry to hear about Ted's passing. Your home was always so fun and welcoming. I remember his laugh and how much he always seemed to enjoy having a house full of friends and family. I know my dad will miss him a lot.

With our deepest condolences. We liove you very much. You are in our prayers.
