Not sure what to say?

I love you Pop.

Dad (Teddy) was the true meaning of "Father". I can't think of anyone I could be more proud of than my dad. He spent his life sheltering and feeding a menagerie of crazy kids and showed us that our troubles were just minor inconveniences and a good reason to laugh. I cant help but shed a tear when I realize I won't see him any more, but then I remember what life was like with him and I just start smiling and laughing.

My story starts with a beat up red pick up truck, a shetlon pony, a bunch of kids, and a drive thru mystic with Teddy at the wheel blowing the horn every 5 seconds. How we ever held on to that pony in the bed of that truck is beyond me. I'm sure we were on our way back from getting ice cream and I'm sure Teddy paid for it. Thanks Teddy. The best neighbor any kid could ever ask for. Rest in peace.

Cindy and Family - your father was a wonderful and funny man- Our thoughts and prayers are with you all

I truly believe that there is no one in the world like Teddy, and there never will be. He was crazy in all the best ways someone can be. Fun cannot begin to describe him. He made life on High Street the envy of our town...bringing us to Janeiros for ice cream in the bucket loader of his tractor, playing games with us all the time, and basically taking us in. Tea and toast at the Wydler's house will always be remembered! Give Grace a kiss for me!

Your father was such a giving man and wonderful role model for us while growing up. He was such a hard worker and his love of his wife and family was always evident in everything he did. I am so sorry for your loss.

I was friends with Cindy many, many, many years ago (in elementary school) and I remember Mr. Wydler (and Mrs.) always made me feel so welcome in his home. May his memory live on in your hearts.

To all the Wydler Kids....
I hope you realize how lucky you were to have had Grace and Teddy for parents. They were the BEST! The McGuire family was blessed, having the Wydler family as our neighbors. We all have such good memories to share.

Heaven Has a New Angel...Say Hi to Grace for us. Ted was The Best.

To the family of Teddy Wydler: My sincere and deepest sympathies go out to all of Ted's family. It was an honor to know him and and he could always make me laugh. I will never forget his stories, his jokes, his never ending sense of humor. "To live in the hearts of those you love, is not to die." May god bless Ted - he is now with the love of his life and at peace. What a truly courageous man and someone I'll never forget!
With heartfelt sympathy, Debbie Holmes, Noank, CT
