I met Theresa in 1996. She was my very first nursing clinical instructor. I called her "The Nurse Nazi" because she was so small, but so mighty! I absolutely loved her from the very first time we met, and had kept in touch with her until the last year or so. She was very passionate about nursing, and equally as passionate about her family. She will be missed! She always made me smile, looking up at me (I am 6'4"). One of my very first dealings with her was in clinicals at Nazareth Home. She...

Wayne and Family,

Walter and I were very shocked and saddened to hear the news about Theresa. We have many fond memories of the times we spent together in our younger lives. Theresa, Pat and Walter grew up together and over the years shared many adventures and experiences. In 1966 when we were married, Theresa was the maid of honor in our wedding. Although we have not stayed in close touch over the years, her passing brings very sharply into focus how delicate life really is and how...

Theresa was my EMT instructor more than 10 years ago, but she has been a major influence in my life. She was a great encourager. She was always stern, but earned great respect from everyone she taught. Because of her influence, I not only became the BEST EMT I could be, I furthered my education, and am now an assistant Director of Nursing. I continue to practice the work ethic Theresa helped install in some of my most impressionable years. I regret not being able to share my...

The last time I saw Theresa was at a class reunion many, many years ago and she was still the same perky person that she was in high school. Alway so much fun to be with. My sympathy goes out to all of her family. She was loved by many.

Theresa will be sadly missed, she was a great nurse and friend at FMHHS.

Dear Wayne and Family,
Many years ago at the corner of Clark Ave. and Rivers End Dr, I saw Theresa for the first time. She was sitting on the ground trying to fix her skates. I said, "Little girl, do you want me to help you?" She said no that she could do it herself. We were both seven years old. After that day we spent our childhood as best friends. We played endless hours at the Sand Banks, built huts in the woods across from my house near the marsh, and waded through the mud in...

Our sincere love and deepest sympathy to all of you. We were sadden to hear of your loss as well as ours. Theresa was a wonderful and vivacious person and we shall miss her. She was always so welcoming, Ken and I reminiscence about our drop in on you all in Kentucky when you lived in a trailer with no children yet. She was so cute about informing me about of her future girls. She was always so thoughtful and kind to Eva, and we so appreciated her many acts of kindness to our family. Our...

I first met Theresa through my good friend, her sister Carol, when she taught CPR/First Aid to our Scout Troop. She didn't know what a stranger was and made everyone immediately feel comfortable and at ease. I met her several times again at Carol's home and discovered she was one of the funniest, warmest, most delightful people I have ever met. Even though our friendship had just begun, I felt as if I had known her all my life. She was one of those people who gathered others into a special...
