Not sure what to say?

Tessa....never cease to miss you, Jess

Dear Tessa; can't imagine what interesting entities you may be hob knobbing with these days.... but I want to know all about it later. Missing You Here, Jess

Tessa....now that I'm here, I really don't know what to say. You were the one good with words.. We miss you here a lot, but know,.. that on a grander level, you move amongst the ones you have loved and who have loved you, for ions...ain't it great!...Give love to Fred from me...and...See you later.

Very sad to hear of the death of Tessa. She was a cousin of both my grandfather and grandmother (who were also cousins!). I only met Tessa twice. First when I was a small boy and she was 13 years old she came to stay with us in England. A few years ago I stayed with her for a night in Stamford. On both occasions I was so impressed by her. Her boundless energy and humanity. Brief but very striking memories. My condolences to her closer family.

In a small family like ours (Tessa's mother and my mother were cousins), every member of the "clan" is highly treasured and appreciated.
This was also the case with Tessa. We celebrated together some of our children's weddings and met socially on several occasions (alas, too few).
Hal and Jaime (who passed away in 1994) got along wonderfully and Tessa and I had established a real bond since I met her for the first time (shortly after we came to the US, in 1961).
Unfortunately...

Thank you Tessa for letting me be a part of your family. It was a great privilege and pleasure to know such a smart, funny and interesting woman. My sincere condolences to Luke, Carl and Gillian on the loss of your mom.

Sending our love to Carl, Luke, Gillian and families at this difficult time. I have special childhood memories of exploring Aunt Tessa's beautiful back yard. Much love, Sonia
