Not sure what to say?

Tom has been an ever present point of light in my life since my early teens. Though he struggled mightily in the early years I am glad I was able to see him come through it all and become the gracious, loving, committed husband and father we all looked up to. Jennie and Patricia; I'm glad I got to meet you and share in your good fortune to be a part of Tom's life. He will be missed.

I was very saddened by the news of your husband's passing. Please know Jennie that I am thinking of you and Patricia.

Jennie and Patricia, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Bawn and I are truly blessed to have known such a wonderful man. May the love and warmth of God surround you during this most difficult time.

Tom and I were roommates during our Lieutenant days in the Air Force in Cheyenne. He was a great friend with a genuine faith, a great sense of humor and was an outstanding cook. He was one of my groomsmen at my wedding 30 years ago. I will always remember him, and look forward to seeing him in heaven.
Chaplain Harry Mathis (Ramstein Air Base, Germany)

Jennie,

Bob and I are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Patricia. We are sorry we cannot come to the service. We enjoyed the times we had spent with you and Tom in the past and hope to see you sometime in the future.
Love, Bob and Jean Burright

Tom was such a committed man, committed to his family, his faith, his church and his students and his country. He fought the good fight. His determination to continue to teach up until just two weeks before the semester was over is a testament to his desire to serve, mentor, teach and face each day with courage. Our prayers for the family are with you. May God’s Grace and Peace carry you through this time of saddness, Pastor Gary Armour and your Countryside Family in Mission, Kansas

I'm so sorry for your loss, Jenny and Patricia. Sorry we couldn't make it up, but you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I was very sad to hear of Tom's passing. He always had such a big smile on his face, no matter what pain he might have been feeling inside. My heart goes out to you, Jennie and Patricia, and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I was so very, very sorry to hear of Tom's passing. Please call me if there is anything I can do to help at any time. This will be a difficult time for you and Patricia, but I know you can do it with the help of your family and friends.
