Not sure what to say?

We were saddened to hear of Ed Bailey's death two weeks ago. His passing, as did Georgia's, made me think of those happy years in the past, when the Bailey and Battey families had many close ties in working together at at St. Mary's and playing together, too. I'm glad that some of you are still close at hand and still good friends. Ed was a fine gentleman, very much respected, admired and enjoyed. The funeral was especially appropriate, and I loved hearing the talks of Georgia and Bernard....

Dear Bailey Family,
My heart was heavy when I read of Dr. Bailey's passing. He was our family's pediatrician through two generations of children. My daughter continued to see him until he retired. She was 18 years old at the time and told me she was always the only person sitting in the "kiddie chairs" with a boyfriend! He was a wonderful friend to my parents and a kind, gentle, and patient physician to so many of my family members. May your hearts be filled with wonderful...

Dr. Bailey was my doctor along with my two sisters. I loved going to his office on Druid Park...he was so kind to us. He always took the time to talk with Mom and catch up on her news.I feel privileged to have known him and if my mother was alive she would say the same. Our thoughts and prayers to the family.

Dear Georgia... Your father must have been a great man. He has many admirers and fans. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.

I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I remember those days when my sister, Julie, and I went to his office. His kind demeanor and sense of humor made the visit better. My condolences to his family. He was a great healer here on Earth. May he Rest In Peace.

Dear Georgia.
I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. He took care of my entire family for so long and was such a good friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May he rest in peace.

My deepest sorrow for the bailey family. When my son was born DR.BAILEY told my wife to take that boy home and feed him meat and potatoes.Well 36 years later he still eats his favorite. We love you doc.

It must have been wonderful to have him for a father and friend. I know you will miss him. I wonder if I was the only little girl he and Miss Sheehan had to pull out from under the examination table after he went out in the hall to get the "shot?" Jayne Scott Toole

May God bless and welcome this very good man!
