I do not believe in my 45 years in education I have felt such deep respect for a person I have never met! After meeting with Elisabeth and reading Mr. Barnard's obituary, I can honestly say he has left a legacy that will extend many generations into the future.
Mr. Barnard never used his accident as an excuse for not excelling in multiple activities. What an inspiration for all of us!
