I bought a car from Father Berberich. I had to chase him down to pay him. He said "make a donation to a Veteran's charity. I made a donation to Navy and Marine Corps Relief (I had benefited from their efforts) in the name of Colonel Thomas Berberich. He was less than thrilled. You will need to search to find a better man than Father Berberich.

I always called him my Uncle Father Tom. I was happy to be at the last reunion he held, it was a really special happy day. When I look at this picture he looks so much like my dad. I am blessed to be part of his family. Cindy Nesline

A wonderful human being and so blessed to have known him. My fondest memory of Father Tom is when he would sit at the bottom of his driveway cheering on the runners at the Annual Kent Pumpkin Run!! I looked forward to my bear hug every year. You will be missed Karen Nesline Macknight and Kevin Macknight

Fr. Tom also served the Nesline family in his efforts to keep all generations in contact. He was a kind and loving cousin. We owe him a debt of gratitude for holding our family together.

My most poignant memory of Fr. Beriberich is from his eulogy for my father, Dr. Maurice Reidy Jr. They were fast friends from their time in the National Guard. He stepped down from the alter and spoke directly to our family of nine children. He was a kind presence in our lives through that difficult day and beyond. Leeny Reidy Shahverdian

Father Berberich was an amazing source of spiritual comfort and companionship to my father, the Rev. Richard Dunne, who was a patient at Rocky Hill Veterans home from 1975 to 1988. He knew how to bolster my father´s spirit when he would get down due to his rapid decline from MS, that cut his time short as a father, husband and minister to his own congregation. He had such a way with the 4 of us, as we were such young children (6 to 12 yrs old) when my father was admitted. He was kind, he...
