Not sure what to say?

Such a great boss with such a great mind. Why did he have to die? Miss him.

Tom's commitment to traffic safety will live on as a legacy of fewer and fewer unnecessary deaths on our highways. He was an inspiration to many in the field and a mentor and friend to my late wife, Kathy Swanson, who was able to continue Tom's work at Traffic Safety after his well-deserved retirement. I will always remember Tom for his gracious good humor.

Dorie and family,
You have my sympathy in the loss of Tom. We had lots of good times at Green Lake at the home of Skoogs. Take care.
Lori Zick, Webster WI

Dorie and family, we are both so sorry for your loss. We always enjoyed our time with you and Tom. Especially those funny greeting cards we sent back and forth! Please take care of yourselves.

I am so sorry to learn of Tom's passing. He was an inspiring highway safety leader and a good friend. He left a legacy in MN when he retired. He was one of the good guys.

Dorie
Sue and I were so sorry to learn of Tom's passing. As you know Tom was a GIANT in the HS field nationally and especially in Region 5. We could always count on Tom for thoughtful discussion and HS counter measure implementation- with one goal to save lives and injuries of the people of MN and nationally. As I sure you will remember the old piano bar Tom and Tom Enright did a great job singing at in the 70's, now they both are together again hopefully singing their hearts out.

Tom Boerner was my boss for 25 years, he was the best boss one could ever have. I have the greatest respect for Tom and his loyality to Treffic Safety in Mn. He was a great speaker, gerneous, gifted and talented man. Truly a loss for all that knew him.

Tom shared his passion and commitment with all of the Office of Traffic Safety. Just hearing his name makes me smile at the memories. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I worked with Tom for many years and thoroughly enjoyed our relationship. It is with great sadness that I send my condolences to Dorie, who I have met several times, and all of Tom's family. I will always remember him fondly. jim nichols
