Tom was my first company commander when I arrived at Ft. Carson as a 2nd LT in 1985. He was a terrific leader and a good, caring man with a great sense of humor. Tom had a huge impact on a lot of us.

Kathy, I would like to offer my most sincere condolences. I just learn of Tom's passing while looking at other facebook messages and just clicked on his picture. I think of him often even if We did not communicate with each other much. I can only remember the times in Cincinnati and at Purcell. He seemed to be a great leader and family man entrenched in his community. He will be missed.

I am very shocked and saddened by this and wanted to let you know that I also mourn your loss. Tom was a...

Dear Kathy, Alex and Jack,
I would like to offer my most sincere condolences for your loss. My relationship with Tom was largely through business. Over the years, we came to know each other much better especially during the occasional strategy lunches at the famed “Porterhouse Restaurant”. Tom was a true professional dedicated to family, country and the company he worked for. We mourn your loss of a husband and father and as for us, a friend as well as a great American.
