Not sure what to say?

What a remarkable career Mr. Carroll had, both in and after baseball. I never met him but when I was 10 I opened a pack of Topps baseball cards and was introduced to a Yankee rookie with a high batting average.

FOR ALL THOSE WHO MAY BE UNAWARE - TOMMY CARROLL WAS A WORLD SERIES CHAMPION IN 1956 WITH THE NEW YORK YANKEES AND IN 1955 WAS THE YOUNGEST YANKEES PLAYER EVER TO APPEAR IN A WORLD SERIES. = REMEMBRANCE =.

My sincerest condolences, if late. Tommy and I were next-door neighbors in St. Albans and daily played baseball and basketball and stickball together with the Pratt brothers. He was always the best. He was also a gracious host to my parents when they went on a cruise to South America. My condolences also to Gloria´s family.

Joan, we were so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. Diana and I remember well the good times we enjoyed together in Sao Paulo, and I am particularly appreciative for Tom's informal but effective mentoring. We would love to see you and reminisce when you are next in the DC area. John & Diana Sears

watched you play on our 1958 new orleans pelicans baseball club.
