Not sure what to say?

April 13, 2024 ... it's been 17 years since my dad (Clarence 'Buster' 'Mac' McCoy) died. He & Tom were good friends at IBM, working in the same cubicle, going to lunch, and sometimes golfing together. I went with them occasionally. Tom wasn't a very good golfer, but he sure did illicit a lot of laughs! A very funny, jovial guy, I can still see his smiling face even after all these years. I was sitting in our living room here in Tennessee reminiscing about my dad, and it came to me, "I wonder...

Rest in peace, Coach Cheevers. Thanks for always believing in me.

Tom & family. My deepest sympathy to you all for the loss of your dad. I know how had it can be at a time like this. Your all in our prayers. Rick Cargill, Endwell, NY

My deepest sympathies to all the Cheevers Clan. Having known your entire family for those short years on Johnson Ave I felt so blessed to have known each and every one of your family. Your dad was always friendly, cheerful and giving of his time and self. How each of you has grown to be a spectacular adult lends credence to his faith and kind personality. To this day I feel blessed to have been neighbors with you all. Will keep your dad, and all of you, in my prayers.

Tom and Lisa, and the Cheevers family, I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Warm Summer Sun

Warm summer sun,
Shine kindly here,
Warm southern wind,
Blow softly here.
Green sod above,
Lie light, lie light.
Good night, dear heart,
Good night, good night.

To the Cheevers Family,
Condolences and prayers at the loss of your Dad. He was a man certainly devoted to God, his family, and his community. May he rest in peace.

Pat,

Sorry to hear about your dad passing on. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Sheila.

Dear Cheevers family - I am deeply saddened by the loss of Tom. I had many conversations with him while I was in NY visiting my mom (Marigrace - his neighbor). Please rest assured he will be kept in our prayers. God Bless you all in this time of great sadness. Rest in Peace Tom. ~!~gg (george griffith, Austin, Texas)
