Thomas Ennis "Tom" Chivers

Tom Chivers was a very innovative and successful coach. When he and I were coaching 8th grade football together, and, going up against the undefeated Wendell Trojan team, we implemented a strategic defense to stop the 40 points per game Trojans. At halftime we were tied. At halftime, we set up our defense once again to make sure the team understood our strategy. As we looked on at our team we noticed a problem.
