Not sure what to say?

I am very sorry to hear of Mr. Crompton's passing. He was an inspirational teacher who made math class memorable. I'm sure there's not a student out there who won't look back fondly on his Chief stories. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Oh Uncle Tom, I wish i could have been there to say goodbye to you. I'll never forget you and all the memories i have of you as I grew up. Always having a new caddy that you were so proud of, chief following behind you wagging his tail and probably my most memorable of being the flower girl in your wedding to aunt jackie. You will be missed by everyone whose life you touched. RIP. Love you.

I may have had Mr Crompton only a year, but his class was the best I had. I don't have many good memories of Mary E Wells. I do remember almost every Math class I had with him. Thanks to you Mr Crompton for showing the better side of math and teaching altogether. Rest Easy....

To the Crompton family,

I never did have Mr. Cropmpton for a math teacher, I did have him for Homeroom in 6th grade. However may he rest in peace.

I wanted to say something about my oldest brother, TOM (teacher of the millennium). From what I have read in the guest book, most of the kids,(now young adults) felt the same way. Yes, Tom had a way to get his profession and true love (math) instilled in their minds and it stuck because it was different, humorous and meaningful all at once. He cared about those kids and their education. He really and truly did. Now, as an older brother, he really took charge. Sometimes it worked and...

Mr. Crompton... YOU are one of the reasons that I became a math teacher! When my students ask my why I tell them about you, your passion for education and your love of math. May there be chalk holders, airport submarine races and NO pains in the lower back in heaven! Enjoy the eternal teacher's lounge! RIP Mr. Crompton

You will truly be missed, you have touched many lives.I am honored to have had you as a brother in law.I will miss your stories and your sense of humor. You had such a big heart and wanted the best for your family as well as your students. After reading the heartfelt messages from your former students,it was like listening to your OPUS.You will be missed.

Tom you are truley missed. You were the true sense of a big brother. I have as many memories of things I learned and great times we had as your students have of you. Being Toms youngest brother was great. Most of all his studying was done in my youngest years. So as I grew older we were able to spend more time together. Times at the beach, swiming at the YMCA. To name a few. He taught me how to become a responsible dad. With three children of our own he was always concerned about their...
