On August 22, 2017, Thomas L. Curcio, Jr., beloved husband of Penelope "Penny" M. (nee: Charton) Curcio; devoted father of Jennifer R. Frankovich and her husband Bret, Heather A. Krystofiak and her husband Jeff and Laura T. Curry and her husband David; dear brother of James Curcio and Marilyn DeAngelo; loving grandfather of Gabby Krystofiak, Luke Frankovich, Matthew Frankovich, Adam Krystofiak and Molly Curry. He also was the Chief Executive Officer of the Board of Childcare of the United Methodist Church, Inc from 1993-2014. Family and friends may call at the CANDLE LIGHT FUNERAL HOME by Craig Witzke for a memorial gathering on Friday, 6-8pm. Services and Interment private. Mr. Curcio (Mr. C), will always be fondly remembered as an amazing humanitarian and advocate for children. We are saddened to hear of his passing. Heartfelt condolences to the Curcio family.

I remember when meeting him my first week, seeing him I shook his hand firm and he said I had a firm grip. I have only been at BCC for 2 years and have saw the things he did for this agency. I remember the day there was a retirement send off for him. I went up to him to say good bye and shake his hand and He grabed me to hug me and said I was the best receptionist he has ever had. It blew me away. At that time I had only been at BCC for 2 years and saw how beautiful the grounds was for the...

I would like to send my sincere condolences to the Curcio family and friends. I have fond and well respected memories of Mr. Curcio. Moving to the Maryland area for a job with the Board of Child Care was life changing for me. Mr. Curcio loved all the young people's lives that he had an impact with. He pushed those to do whatever was needed to ensure their experience was one that we all could be proud of. He challenged a person to look at new challenges in ways that we may have never...
