Tom, Jon and Nancy - My deepest sympathies on the lose of Big Tom as my family always called him. I worked for him, got drilled by him, and listened to many a band on the porch at the lake. May you find warmth from family and friends during this difficult time. He was a good man that meant a lot to all in our family.

I was so sorry to learn of your father's passing, although I know that these last few years brought ill health. Your father was a wonderful man, and I was privileged to get to know him while I served as pastor at Grace UCC from 2002 to 2012. I will always remember `Doc. Davis foremost, as the big-hearted Assistant Scoutmaster. Tom always made sure his 'boys' had a place in his home, or at the lake house. Never was there a dull moment when Tom was around. If he wasn't helping the scouts earn a merit badge, he was making sure that they learned waterskiing or ice fishing or some other outdoor oriented activity. I am so terribly sorry about Uncle Tommy, I wish our family would have been closer. I don't know what happened, but I regret not being closer. Please accept my condolences. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you!
