Not sure what to say?

A follow to my January 2023 message - look forward to meeting Tom´s family someday. Randall & Barb Angell

Tom was a Wonderful friend. He led me to Christ. Though always a gentleman and so smart, I visibly saw a change in him and his purpose for life when he made a commitment to Christ during his freshman year of college in Chicago. He came home to Oklahoma and changed his major. He was the big brother I never had. His mom and I were great friends. Tom, like his mother, was smart, quick-witted and so much fun. He is with them now. Tom made it to my dad's funeral in November of 2004 because we...

Just learned of Tom's passing. Tom presented a heartfelt eulogy of his grandmother Mattie in 1975 that I recently revisited with Mattie's Angell side of the family - David Saddler Angell. My thoughts and prayer to the family - like his grandma, Tom was a remarkable person. Randall Angell, grand nephew of Mattie Binning

Just learned of Tom's passing, so very sad, had hoped to see him this spring. I'll always remember Tom as that happy problem solver, he always had a really good idea, or a crazy idea, to make some aspect of life a little better. He made me smile, and helped me, and for that, I'll always be grateful. Deepest sympathies for Tom's family -- yet how lucky you were to have such a bright light in your lives for so long! Rest in peace, Tom, my friend.

When I think of Tom, the words integrity and service immediately come to mind. He cared about making the world a better place in so many ways. We met in High School but kept in touch through retirement. We both worked for the Andersen firm, giving us the opportunity to get together at company meetings. All through his life he found ways to be of service to governments with his combination of intelligence and integrity. We are all better off because of him. Those of us who us were...

To the Daxon family: I met Tom when he was Gov. Keating´s budget director and I was a Senate fiscal analyst, and we maintained contact throughout the 2000s. As a liberal Democrat, he and I disagreed on just about every policy issue, but he was always respectful and decent and I grew to greatly appreciate our relationship. May his memory forever be a blessing.

Linda, I am sorry to hear of your loss. Tom and I were friends from grade school through high school. Our mothers made us and another friend go to a ballroom dancing class in 6th grade. I am not sure either of us were excited about it! We shared a common interest in young republicans through our school years. Tom was a good man and an honest auditor for Oklahoma.

I am so sorry to hear about Tom. We were in teenage Republicans together and he was a big supporter of my dad when he ran for the US Senate in 1960 and 1062. Tom, like all of us and teenage Republicans loved our state, loved our country, and just wanted the best for all mankind. We have seen each other over the years whether at a funeral or some other Republican event. The world will dearly miss Tom. Peggy Crawford Alverson. So now how do I get it

Tom was a great friend in high school and at OSU. Outstanding gentleman and leader. It was a sincere pleasure and honor to call him my friend.
