WINTHROP -- Thomas Eugene Devoy, 60, of Winthrop, died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013, in Winthrop.
He was born Sept. 30, 1953, in New London, Conn., the son of Joseph and Margaret (Reilly) Devoy. Tom grew up in Philadelphia, Pa., and moved to Maine in the late 1970s.

Tom, i was so proud of you when we were young we would walk all over ,to see uncle phil at st. vincents semenary 'mostly for the ice cream then back to haines st , our travels were walking or biking somtimes the trolley . fishing was the best ,we went to the 'creek' and on the delaware and never had a bad time . those will be my memories as long as i live. dear god save a fishing rod for tom and he will teach you a thing or two. I'm going to miss you . god bless you lil' billy
