Not sure what to say?

I am saddened to learn of Tom's passing. I am his second cousin as our paternal grandmothers were sisters, Ruby (his) and Genevieve (mine). I only met Tom a couple of times, last time being when I was about fourteen and we stopped in Huntsville to see his folks, Bill and Jane, just a few weeks before his wedding. I was attempting find Tom online as part of my family tree project and was stunned to find he had passed. Though I didn't know Tom well, I did know his parents well and knew Tom...

Though it's been over 40 years since our days together Tom, I have so many memories of high school, our short term band, joining the army together, our late nights watching Johnny Carson (on school nights) while eating 3 layer pbj's.I know those who knew you, then and now, will miss your zest for life and sense of humor. God bless you and God be with your family at this time. I have missed you.

Mike, you and your family are in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.

Karen, may your memories comfort and sustain you. To have loved, and been loved, by a man like Tom is a blessing beyond imagination. You and and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I hold fond memories of Tom. He cooked one mean steak! My heart goes out to my old friend, Karen and the rest of his family and friends.

Tom touched many hearts and souls. A lot of folks thought we were brothers, sometimes even thought we were twins. Yes, we were brothers, not by birth but definitely in spirit. God blessed me with his friendship. I am a better person for it. He will live forever in my memory and in my heart. Now it is time to put on your flip flops, turn up the music, and celebrate a life well lived. I love ya brother!
