Dolan, Thomas, - 76, of Ft. Myers, FL, Thomas W Dolan Jr., 76, of Fort Myers, FL (formerly of Linwood, NJ) passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022. Born July 1, 1945 in Reno, NV, Thomas started his forty year career with the Federal Aviation Administration as an air traffic controller and later in aviation security. For the past two years, Tom was the grand knight of the St John XXIII Chapter of the Knights of Columbus. Through his involvement with the Knights, he became closely involved with many charities especially St. Martin De Porres Outreach Ministries. He was a volunteer at Gulf Coast Medical Center and the St John XXIII Thrift Shop. Tom's many hobbies included photography, cooking, enjoying a fine cigar, and especially his passion for golf. Thomas is predeceased by his parents Thomas W Dolan Sr and Pauline Dolan (Nee Palo). He is survived by his beloved and loving spouse of thirty years Marilyn (Nee Kopacz). Also survived by two sons Thomas W Dolan III and his wife Linda Spalding of St Petersburg and David Spina, his wife Kristen Spina, and his beloved granddaughter Sienna Rose Spina of Fort Myers. Tom is also survived by three sisters Nancy Hains of South Carolina, Elaine and Brad Arnhart of Virginia, and Marianne and William Berry of North Carolina. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St John XXIII Church located at 13060 Palomino Lane in Fort Myers, FL on Saturday June 18th. Visitation will be at 9:30am in the church followed by the mass at 10:00am. Burial will be private.
