Not sure what to say?

My husband and I are broken-hearted at Tom's passing. We met him and Janice four years ago and became good friends over many meals and conversations at their home.

He was funny, roguish and whip-snap smart with a special love and supreme knowledge of history. A tender hearted man with a perpetual twinkle in his eye, he loved to say things to see how you would react. He was truly fascinated by other people and wanted to know what made them tick. Dear Janice,
So sorry for your loss. Stephen and I so enjoyed bumping into Tom out and about. Always made me smile and loved to catch up on old times and family. My heart hurt when we heard the news.

Tom and his beloved mother Ruth Bibo owned a dress shop downtown in the mid 1980's. They rented from my parents. Tom was always very kind and was his mom Ruth. Tom's son would visit us in the restaurant below and have coffee or a sandwich. Then he moved to New York to become a designer. The rest of course is history in this circle of life. Janice, Tom, Jennifer, and family--our deepest condolences go out to you. May Tom's memory be eternal.

Tom was a fantastic neighbour and friend to Holt & Mildred. He will be missed. And yes he had a wicked sense of humour.

You were indeed a thoughtful and liberal voice in our community. Thank you, Tom.
I will miss you.
