Tommy it's hard to believe that you're gone!!! My condolences go out Elisabeth and to your entire family! To me you were my first partner in EMS! You had faith in me when I didn't even have it in myself. You taught me things that seemed like it was way out of my league but you made me do it anyway. You pushed me everyday to do more and go further. I'll never forget the time you made me give that patient an IV, you told me "she's all yours"and you walked off with a smile on you're face. I knew just then I started shaking and I literally drew a blank on what I was supposed to do. You came back and with the gentilist voice you said "calm down, think of what you learned in school, you can do this". Then again walked away. Needless to say I started to sweat again but I took a deep breath and tried to calm down. In the end I did everything I was supposed to do. Our patient told me that what I had to do didn't hurt a bit. Well if that did't make me feel like I was on cloud 9 at that moment I don't know what would have. I'll NEVER forget all of the good times we had in EMS! We talked about your love for you're wife and kids and your dogs! I told you personal things about myself and you were not fazed about it one bit!! You were an angel then and an angel in heaven now. I will keep your memory forever in my heart and pray for your family as they are missing you too but in a different way. Again my condolences to ALL who knew you and you will be forever missed deeply!! If there were more people like you in this world we live in I just know it would be a much better place. Until we meet again, I'll never forget you!! R.I.P. my friend!!!!!!
