I was saddened to see Tom's obit in the newspaper (I'm often 1-2 weeks late reading the News). I remember Tom so well from High School. He was laid back, and he never worried about doing the in thing or hanging with the right crowd. I admired him for that. I spent a year in Spain with Tom. I haven't seen him many years, and lost touch with him long ago, but I always thought that one day, the gang would get together again. We called him Tio Tomas, and we all loved him. When I look through the photo album in my mind's eye, Tom is in so many of the happiest moments. In my heart he will be forever young.
