I met Tom about 12 years ago, I would go visit him when ever I came back to Kentucky, I will miss the man that I called my friend. What a handsome man he was, for sure in his younger day's. Rest in peace my friend, you will missed by Many people. You will always be in my thought's and prayers.

I never met you Mr. Harbut but I had so hoped I would one day. You and your father and Man o War have been heroes of mine all my life. I am the artist that created the carved portrait you were given by my friend Mr. Fister. I was so honored he gave it to you. I will always regret not getting to Kentucky to meet you. I had so many questions I wanted to ask you. I hope maybe one of your sons will know the answers. The greatest life is one spent with great horses. My condolences to your entire...

you have my deepest sympathy sorry I could not be with you guys

Mr. Harbut kindly met with me years ago when I was researching Man o' War. He talked happily about music running in his family, as well as horses -- and it's no wonder that people and horses both enjoyed his company. So down to earth, and a beautiful, full-hearted laugh! Deepest sympathies to his loved ones.

Saundra, Gregory, Tyrone & Families, We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your father and extend to you our deepest and heartfelt sympathy during this very difficult time. Blessings to you our cousins. Love to each of you.

I never knew Mr. Tomas Harbut, but his face is so kind and beautiful and his life and spirit must have made his family very proud. His memories of his father's relationship with Man o' War are also a part of my first memories of horses. Knowing he also had such a brilliant career and many friends is heartwarming. R.I.P. and condolences to his Family for their great loss.

I was blessed to know Tom, a joyous, intelligent and wonderful man! He shall remain in my heart forever.

Saundra, I truly enjoyed working with you at USDA for many years & want you to know I have never forgotten you & will be praying for you & your family in the loss of your father. Brenda Webb.
