Not sure what to say?

I met Thomas at an oil painting class at the Atlanta College of Art one summer. That fall Thomas and 2 other friends we made there, joined me at Dykes HS. I never saw him again after he left Dykes but I'll never forget the great adventures the 4 of us had while he was there. He was mysterious, caring and intelligent. It seemed he remained that way always...

Thomas, You were truly one of a kind. Your trip to Tulsa and to Pryor was fun for all involved. You helpd send out letters when my husband was running for the legislature. You made a BIG DEAL with the envelopes and we had many kind comments. Not every candidate had hand caligrophy printed thank you note envelopes.
Rest now and know that you will be missed by all who knew and loved you.

Sincerely,
Charlene & Bill Kendrick

Sallie Cobb, I am so sorry for the loss of your special brother. I hope and pray that you and your family are doing okay during this time.

I worked for Garthys dad in the 70's and helped him move into a house at Middle Georgia College. I would love to hear from any family members that may remember way back then. His dad was always so proud of him.

Garthy--
May your current journey be as interesting and as strange as your last. You are a true original and will be missed.

Thomas,
My long term friend and loved one...carry on with your light and without the pain and dissappointments. If you find instant inspiration and bask in love, you've earned it, my friend. If you are hanging out with us for a bit, pranks have always been welcome. Among other treasures, you gave me a button that said "Take me to Paris" as you know I do so love it there. It was attached to a $2.00 bill folded as a Thunderbird and clasped to one of the many beautiful Valkyrie cards you...

The obituary of Thomas is indeed a glowing tribute to this rather remarkable human being. His kindness and gentile manners will always be a lesson to us. Let's perform "random acts of kindness" in his memory. May God's peace be with you Thomas!

Continue your Grand Journey.....
