I served with Tom during the Korean war on USS Calvert, APA 32. I was a third class electronics tech, he was first class radioman.We were good friends both onboard and on liberty, mostly in Japan. He was always a fine gentleman, upstanding, honest, and disciplined. He was a truly patriotic American, and he loved the Navy.
