Tom and I went to Penn State Harrisburg campus together to get our BSEE degrees. He lived across the street from me in Mead Heights, the university's dupex-home community, and we had many happy times on campus together. During my career I had occasion to go to San Diego where Tom lived. I got to see him several times during that period. I fondly remember our ski trips to Colorado, one especially snowy day finished off with a soak in the hot tub while snow accumulated on our heads, steam billowing all around. Tom had a beer in one hand and a cigar in the other and seemed very content. He will be missed.

I met Tom while I was working for Emerson. He was larger than life, yet he was just a regular guy. Tom was so intelligent, but so modest. I am so happy he was able to live the good life. Nobody deserved it more than him. May his blessed soul rest in peace, and may God comfort his loved ones left behind. We've lost a great human being.
