Not sure what to say?

Dr. Lyttle was an extraordinary teacher and human being, and it is an honor to say I had the privilege of knowing him. He embodied kindness in every interaction and served as a model mentor to all who were fortunate enough to learn from him. Dr. Lyttle taught his students not only the importance of understanding the world around them, but also the power of self-expression and staying true to one´s voice. His guidance shaped my education in profound ways, and the lessons he imparted continue...

I'm so sad to hear of Doc's passing. He was a kind and gentle soul that nurtured the creative minds of so many Houstonians and Texans. I'm proud to have learned the beauty of the theater under his tutelage.

I've known Tom for over 50 years. Tom was a dear friend to my brother John Corley. He was always good for a laugh, usually aimed at my father. He will be missed.

My deepest sympathy to the family. I knew Tom from UHD, he was one of the first professors I met when I was hired in 2002. He always greeted me warmly and had a kind word to say. I admired his commitment to the theater and to his students, and his support of the Spanish-language student directed One Act Plays. May God bless him and may he rest in peace.

I met Tom 65 years ago at the University of Akron when I joined the Beta Rho Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. Tom became my big brother and a life long friend. We stayed in contact through his years in the Peace Corps, his stint at a college in Cedar Falls, and ultimately his final destination in Houston. One could never ask for a better, more genuine friend. He totally surprised me on one of his trips back to Akron by establishing the Lyttle - Buie Endowed Scholarship for TKE Beta...

Tom was a good friend and neighbor, very sad to lose him but know he´s with his beloved Joey and happy again. He´s already missed on our street where he walked and we would talk daily. Godspeed my friend, until we meet again

Our dear, dear "boss" and more importantly...friend. You graced our lives in so many ways.
