WAS SO SORRY TO HEAR OF YOUR DAD'S PASSING. HE WAS BEST MAN AT MY WEDDING 46 YRS AGO. MY HUSBAND DIED IN APRIL OF 2007 SO I FEEL YOUR PAIN. HE AND MY HUSBAND HAD LOTS IN COMMON, WE WENT TO INTERCOLONIAL IN OUR YOUNGER DAYS. HE WENT TO CATHEDRAL HIGH WITH ME THEY ARE HAVING THEIR 50TH ANNIVERSAY THIS YEAR. I haven't been in touch with Tommie for years, and was so sorry to hear of his passing. I always remember his warmth and humor when I was new at MIT. His cheerfulness brightened my day. Like Sal Puleo said, he was a good and gentle soul.

To Tom's children, grandchildren and wife Mary. I volunteered with Tom Monday nights for 15 years. We would often meet in the cafeteria. He would sit and sip tea while I ate dinner. He spoke of his love for his children, grandchildren his new wife, his pets and Ireland. We always had many laughs. I will miss him so. He was a wonderful man.
