Judge McCoun was a wonderful judge and no doubt a wonderful human being. He was fair, believed in the judicial system working properly, and treated lawyers and litigants alike with great respect. It was an honor to be in his courtroom. He was one of the rare judges I have had the pleasure of encountering that took his duties seriously, remained neutral, was always respectful, and followed the law.
