Thomas Meehan Obituary

MEEHAN THOMAS L., on Sept. 7, 2002 of Kenner, LA, formerly of Clifton Heights, PA, husband of Joanne Meehan, devoted father of Austin and Jack Meehan, beloved son of Thomas L. and Mae (Riddle) Meehan, brother of Peggy Meehan, Eileen Vella, Fran Meehan, and Brian Meehan. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass Friday 10 A.M. Holy Cross Church, Springfield, PA and to his Visitation Friday after 9 A.M. in the Church. Interment private. In his memory the family would appreciate contributions to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School for the education of Austin and Jack Meehan, 4119 St. Elizabeth Dr., Kenner, LA 70065. (O'LEARY FUNERAL HOME, Springfield)

Joann, I had no idea until just this norning that Tom had passed away!!! Certainly I would have been in touch and would have been at the funeral. I don't know where you are living (I'm thinking you had moved to the Northshore at one point) but will make every effort to find you and be in touch. Please call Chuck and me if there are any immediate needs we can help you with. Because I know nothing of Tom's illness - whether it was lingering or quick - I can't imagine what you've been living through, but facing life alone with two boys can't be easy...my heart goes out to all of you. Please know that you are all in my prayers.
