Please take a minute to read this. Thomas Mellon (or Tommy, as we knew him) was my swim team coach at Folcroft Swim Club MANY years ago. I haven't seen him since I was a teenager, but my memory of him is so vivid, I can still hear his voice. Tommy brought a bunch of kids together that didn't even know what a swim team really was, and showed us how to become one. Sure, he had us in the pool every morning, and sometimes after dinner, swimming...
