My name is Chris R. Lampe and I was the California League historian. As a 10 year old boy in 1955 I fell in love with baseball and the San Jose Red Sox. My thoughts are with your family. Tom was a true gentleman and I greatly enjoyed the time I spent with him talking baseball, travel, and life in general. His Stockton Port reunions were great fun and his time spent at our new ballpark was greatly appreciated.
