I met Thom in 1976 and was honored to play in a band with him for some time. Along with Tom Kunz, Elviage Taylor, Rick Latone and myself, we experienced many hours of fun and entertainment. Tom and I hadn't seen each other or spoken for many years. But when my father died I got a phone call from him offering me his condolences and words of kindness about my father, with whom he had a professional relationship. Those words and his calm demeanor helped to soften the pain I was feeling. Thanks Tom, and say hi to Dad for me !!!!!
