I just found out today and my heart is broken. What an amazing man, and all the comments are right, he made me feel welcomed and open and I only knew him for a little while. I never saw him without that awesome smile. He was special and touched so many lives. My friend, Colette, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sorrow.

My sincerest condolences to Collette & all of Tom's loved ones. I didn't know him as long as some, but it was long enough to know that he was an incredibly kind, loving, caring, & respected man ! He introduced himself to me after church one morning to offer his condolences on the loss of my nephew. He handed me a bookmark, on which there was a poem that he wanted me to read. He said the poem brought him alot of comfort in the dark times of his own personal loss & he wanted to share that hope of healing with me. From that moment on, Tom was a friend at church, not just someone that sat behind us !! I can still see his welcoming smile & feel the warmth in his handshake. He'll be greatly missed.

When I begin to think of all you've done for me and my son, I do not think there will enough pages to fill. I was a lucky person to have been able to have you in our lives. When noone was there for me and Reece, you always proved otherwise. I will never forget when I first met you, that you said, "family is everything, and it is all you have." I realize that now more than ever. I will truly miss you and all the good times we had.
