Thomas Sanders Carpenter CPCU

Tom was a valued leader in the Charlotte Office of Aetna where I had the pleasure of meeting and working for him. He was always caring, forthright, honest. He provided valuable career guidance for many people, including me. Very hardworking, Tom set a work ethic example for all of us. He will be missed.

I just now learned of Tom's passing. He was one of the most important people in my life. He hired me, mentored me, encouraged me and provided opportunities for me for which I will forever be grateful. Military service, Aetna and Tom Carpenter changed a trajectory of my career for the better and my family has benefited by his mentorship. Go rest high my friend. You will forever be remembered. I remember TC, as those who worked for/ with him refered to him, with respect and love. He was a mentor to so many and my life was shaped by his guidance. His passing leaves a very large space to be filled. Marcia Mooney Wood

Tom and Gretchen were our best friends. We had many fun times together. We met many Monday nights at our favorite restaurant in Charlotte.
