We are sadden to hear of the lost of someone we loved so dearly. Sorry that we could not make the service; our hearts are with you at this time and we will truly miss Blue, but will always remember the good times we shared.

WITH DEEPEST SYMPATHY.
AS A YOUNG CHILD I LIVED NEXT DOOR TO THE SANDERS AND I RECALL SPENDING A LOT OF MY TIME @ THEIR HOME. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER BOY BLUE'S SMILE. TO THE FAMILY, I WAS VERY SORRY TO HEAR OF THE PASSING OF BOY BLUE. MAY YOU TAKE COMFORT IN KNOWING THAT TO BE ABSENT FROM THE BODY IS TO BE PRESENT WITH THE LORD. MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. LOVE ALWAYS FRANCES PACE & FAMILY

With Deepest Sympathy.

I grew up on 32nd Street. Across the street from the Sanders.

May the family find strength in Christ.

“Blue” made friends of everyone he met. I remember, as a child in Savannah, that he would “stop by for just a minute” to visit with my grandmother, Mariah. Sometimes he’d bring fresh fish or crab. And of course, he’d give us “a little change”. Little did I know he was actually family! It wasn’t until a few years ago when I was doing some family research that I realized that he was her first cousin! He was very generous and kind. He shared what he knew about our family, Savannah and Daufuskie....

Mrs Sanders (or as I called you growing up, Aunt Pheobe). I was sorry to hear about Mr Blue. May you take comfort in knowing that he is in a better place, and may God bless you. John Elliott

Family of Blue, our deepest sympathy, so sorry to hear of Blue's passing.
