Not sure what to say?

We are saddened by the loss of Dr. Tom Scott. He was a friend of many years. Also my mother was a RN that worked with his father Dr. Francis Scott long ago. His contribution to our community was admired by all. He will be sadly missed. We send our deepest sympathy to the family. Barbara and Bob Bias

I considered Dr. Scott a very dear and old friend. He was the reason I became a nurse and obtained my Doctorate in Nursing. RIP my friend Teri McCoy

To the family of Dr. Tom Scott, I want to express my deepest sympathy for your loss, especially to you, Patty. Dr. Scott and my father, Tom Owens, were great friends for years, so we spent a lot of time with your family as children. I remember your father as being on of the kindest, most caring, and selfless men I have ever met. May he RIP and may God guide you all through this time of sorrow and remembrance. Cathy Owens Peeler

I had the pleasure of serving in the W.V. State Senate with Tom. He was passionate about his family, his patients, and his constituents. I'm a better person for having known him. To his family, please accept my sympathy and thank you for sharing him with us in the Senate many years ago! Gods speed!

I never met Dr. Scott but I heard many stories about him from his son Dr. Thomas Scott Jr. It sounded lke he was a great guy. I can't believe he was doing house calls in this day and age. He must have really cared for his patients. His son looks very much like him. My condulances to his family.

I am so sorry of his passing. He is in better place. I worked with him , given Anesthesia to his patients. Dr Scott´s patients felt he was great and very compassionate. Big loss for Hintington..

Dr Scott´s personal encouragement to pursue a career in the practice of medicine, as he took the time and interest to do for so many, was instrumental in my becoming a physician. Peace be with you and your family.

I was an orthopedic nurse at St Mary's for 26 years & cared for many of Dr Scott's patients. They all thought the world of him as did the nursing staff. Back in the early days of my career he would make grand rounds for any of us who could spare a few minutes to listen & learn from the master. He was always one of my favorite orthopedists. He was kind & treated us all with respect. Condolences to his family.

It was my pleasure to serve in the Wv state senate with Tom. He was a great asset and was respected by All. He stopped by the Senate Chamber to say hello last year!
