Not sure what to say?

We were devastated to hear this news of Tom"s passing. We have the fondest memories of time shared on the deck laughing and sharing a brew here on Lummi He knew he was a blessed and lucky man . He had the best laugh ! He couldn´t pull off the ferry without numerous people driving around trying to find his van and track him down. Word would spread that quick. Praying for the peace and comfort of our Lord to be upon Phoebe and his beloved family. We would like to attend the memorial in July.

So sad to hear this it was nice being able to pick up the phone and call tom we always started with a bob myers quote well going to miss you tom prayers to his family another good one gone

Tom had a definite "presence" no matter where he was or what was happening. We spent many hours on the road or in a ditch, but let the good times roll!! Our motto- Hans and Franz, we are here to "Pump You UP ". And we did. You will be missed my friend.

So sorry to hear of Tom's passing. He was a lot of fun to be around. Kurt and Sandee Oberleitner

We will always carry fond memories of Tom in our hearts! He was such a presence of energy and laughter in a room. Our sincerest thoughts to Phoebe and family, Kristy and Tom Koens

A life too short - many many fun times with brother Tom. From my B'ham days to the croquet courses we shared laughs and brotherhood. You are missed my friend.

First met Tom while attending WWU. From early on almost every project we worked on or every event we attended, including 30+yrs of Husky games became what we gratefully referred to as "another Chapter". His indefatigable energy & banter were the common threads of the Book. Rocki, Me & our Family miss Tom greatly. Like D said, Cya´ in the next Chapter...

What can i say? Tom was fun and funny, shoot-from-the-hip, and kept so many people in his life for so long. That's a real and underrated talent that many people don't have; he built and sustained relationships. He loved his wife, my sister Phoebe, and we are grateful that they had each other for so long. They built a home together. Tom was wild about the big crazy fireworks, loved his kids and grandkids and was involved in their lives and always had something he was working on. He will be...

I meet Tom at Western Washington State College in 1972. We have been great friends ever since. We shared seats at Husky Football ball for thirty years. We also co-owned an ocean front condo together in Manzanillo Mexico. He loved to joke with our Mexican friends and practice his Spanglish. He had a great sense of humor and always laughed at his own jokes. He was his best fan and entertained people from Mexico to Canada. He would have everyone in stitches from the moment he woke until he went...
