Not sure what to say?

I think about Tom often and tell stories about him to school districts all over the country. They find it almost impossible to believe that we built our own word processors, spread sheets and data bases back then so that they could seamlessly integrate into the courseware. Tom, and the people he hired, convinced me that it would be not only possible to do that but that we would have tools that were more attuned to student learning than the very rudimentary tools on the market back then. Then...

Dear Beverly and family, I as many others had the pleasure of visiting with you and Tom at the HHS reunion. Tom was a great guy with a huge personality and fun to be around during school. The legacy of family displayed at his viewing was beautiful. I pray that your days will get easier and memories pull you through the tough times.

Bev, LuReen Brock just called me and told me about the passing of your husband, Thomas. The last time I saw you was when John and I married back in 1992. What a shock to hear that it happened so suddenly, I'm guessing it was a heart attack. I'm so sorry; he was so young. John will probably send you a note as well. I'm still at Kennecott, now at Daybreak. If I can be a listening ear, please give me a call.

We love you and Tom, Beverly. You're in our prayers this week. Thank you for your wonderful example of eternal love. Your love for each other has always been inspiring. Our hearts were so saddened with the news of tom's passing, but comforted knowing you'll always be together, and that we'll all be able to see Tom again. With love and gratitude to you both. JMarsh

My heart broke when I read about Tom's passing. Even though I have not seen him in years, I still remember the fun times we had kicking around Midvale Middle and Hillcrest High together. May you rest in peace my friend and deepest sympathy to your family during this difficult time.

Rand and I were so glad to get to talk to you and Tom at our reunion. He was a great friend and Hillcrest will always honor him as one of our own! He made my years there so much fun and he was such a great guy. He will be missed more than you know. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult and tender time. May brighter days be ahead with many fond memories to sustain you. Always in our hearts, Rand and Debby Beckstead (Smart)

Our hearts are saddened and yet so grateful for having had Tom in our lives. He allowed us each to be ourselves while leading by example to be more than we thought we could be. Our love and prayers are with you Bev and your family. Kim and Jon Call
