Not sure what to say?

I remember Tom Shackle sitting in the TV studio in Barrow early in his career doing what he enjoyed the most. He was a good man and worked with many of us over the years. He will be missed.

I got the pleasure to meet Tom and he was a very kind man, it saddens me to find him no longer here, Tom so many lives were touched by your kindness and love, You will be missed by the whole family.
Love you Tom/Dad

To the family of Tom Shackle,
We send you our deepest sympathy on the passing of Tom. We met Tom when he worked with the Alaks Public Forum in 1976-80. I also worked on projects with him when he was at the University. HIs contributions to Alaska were great and his videos will stand as a testiment of his committment to us long into the future. We are saddened by his passing. Jane Angvik and Vic Fischer, Anchorage
