Not sure what to say?

Dear Tom and Family,

I was shocked to read of the passing of your Dad. I met your sweet father when I worked as a radio newscaster in Hartford in the late 80's..we became good friends. After leaving Hartford and moving to Atlanta we continued to keep in contact sending each other cards for every occassion. ( he especially liked St. Patricks Day cards) He was a true friend!!! I will remember him with kindness and grace.
I feel blessed to have known him!!

Well Grandpa I am engaged. You will be missed at all of the parties to come. I know you are watchin Love Ya

To Mr. Sheridan's Family,
I work at Westside Market around the corner from where Mr. Sheridan lived. He stopped into my work almost everyday to get the newspaper with his friend Persis. The mere presence of his familiar face always brought a smile to mine. He was always so kind and spoke often of his family. I asked Persis today where her "buddy" was (as I often called him), and she told me of his passing. I was so shocked and saddened as I had just learned of his son's passing. I am so...

Dear Attorney Sheridan,
I had the pleasure of knowing your Dad at both the Spa and the dance hall in Glastonbury.I never ceased to enjoy your Dad's many stories--He truly had the Irish Humor. I will miss him and may God welcome him home.
Very sincerely,
Michael F. Gates,Ph.D-retired professor
PS: I will make a contribution in his memory to the Iwo Jima Memorial Foundation.
