Not sure what to say?

Sandy so sorry about Tom. I miss all my Sidney friends. Hope you are well. Take care of yourself. Kathi Boyd Biltz

Sorry to hear of Shoes passing. My mom and I really liked working at the Holiday Inn many moons ago. Scott and Marty Hibner

My husband first met Tom while working in the Advertising Department of the Sidney Daily News in the 1960´s as Tom would place ads in the local paper for the Holiday Inn. I would later meet Tom as the local hotel/restaurant was the place to go for breakfast or dinner and he would always stop and chat with everyone while refilling cups of coffee or freshening up glasses of water. Always friendly and smiling, Tom was a tireless worker that I had the occasion to interact with over the years...

Tom was a generous man who was always smiling. He and Sandy supported student scholarships at OHIO for many years and always enjoyed meeting the students when he came back to Athens for a football game or Phi Delt reunion. Tom will be greatly missed by his Ohio University family.

My most sincere condolences to you Sandy, all Tom's family, as well as all those whose lives he touched. He was a true inspiration to me and to all those who knew him.

I worked for Shoey for 5 years. He never stopped running. Breakfast lunch a break with a nap. Then it was set up for dinner and the banquet rooms needed set as well. After dinner it was setting up banquet rooms for breakfast meetings. He didn´t walk , it was a slow run.a hard worker. He will be missed. Many fond memories Sherri Burgoyne

Tom was a special person to me, both during the time I was in education and the time I was in the insurance work. He was always friendly and pleasant and cared about you as a person. It seemed like he worked 24 hours a day. He was a very successful business person and helpful to many others. Tom was blessed with a wonderful wife and family. May God continue to watch over them and care for them.

We traveled with Tom and Sandy to Europe twice. We were impressed by their generosity of person and spirit. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with them. He will be missed.

I have never known a man with more kindness, grace, GENUINE concern for others, wisdom and generosity!! It was an honor to be around he and Sandy for many years and watch his gentle dignity and humility as he worked to serve others and make their lives better. I know this man has a VERY special place in heaven!
