To the family of Tom Skilling: would like you to know that Tom was honored by his fellow mariners on Saturday January 6, 2007. Eight bells rang signifying "his watch is ended".

Betty,
I will never forget my conversations with you and Tom in the Caribou Coffee Shop in Batavia. Such a sweet couple! My heart aches for you. You are in my thoughts. If you need anything I'd be happy to help you in anyway. May you and your children find peace in the special memories of your family. Take care, Pam

I met Mr. Skilling thru the American Merchant Marines-Midwest Chapter that my late Dad & he helped found. He was very proud of his service in the Merchant Marines. My Mother is still the Log Lady for that group.
He was one of the nicest men you'd ever care to meet & will be sorely missed.
