Dr. Thomas L. Stone

I had the pleasure of working with Dr.Stone at Forest Hospital.Although today it's common knowledge that psychosis has a genetic componet,back then this was a novel concept and he truly was a pioneer in the treatment of biochemical abnormalities in mental illness.
I remember him as a passionate,open-minded,caring individual whose presence will undoubtedly be missed.My sympathies to all his family and friends.He and all of you will remain in my thoughts and prayers.A contribution shall...

Dr. Stone was my friend and physician. Through the years, I witnessed his healing hands restore health and hope to many people who had almost lost both. Dr. Stone's legacy to family, friends and patients is his understanding, capacity for humor and generosity and willingness to see the whole patient rather than symptoms. My condolence to son David, daughters Laura and Alisa, their families and his brother David Stone. We all celebrate his life and mourn his death.
