Not sure what to say?

Remembering Tomasso Grande, as he was warmly nicknamed by a few of his Beach friends, always makes me smile.

Greatest of childhood memories.. R.I.P. Mr.White ~~~ Respectfully, The Keatings

I too am a Beach Cafe Alumni. And send my sincere condolences to friends and family. It was a pleasure knowing and working for Mr. White and I have shared pleasant memories with Tom Sr., Bill and Tommy Jr. and hold them fondly. Blessing from Michael Bruno and Family

It's been so many years, but Tomaso Grande remains as vivid as if it were yesterday. So full of life! Taking in all in, and giving it all out! Just incredible, and just the best! But, as I said to Brian Clark, I hope he mailed in his ballot! Missing NYC, for me, is missing Tomaso Grande! He was a special friend, as is his family. Love, hugs, tears to all, Cynthia

Sending love to Tecla and the entire White family. Tom was a dynamic and charming man who will always be remembered. May you find comfort in knowing how special you all are to so many people.

So sorry for your loss. Mr. White was a true gentleman.

As another who enjoyed the warmth at the Beach in the company of Frank Bergin and Tommy....my condolences and warm wishes to the whole family...

The end of an era. TW was a Renaissance man--a chef, restauranteur, artist, golfer, conversationalist, WWII veteran, dancer, style-meister. He did it all and lived the life of ten men. Godspeed, TW.

My thoughts and prayers reach out to the White family..Tecla,Tommy Jr,Conrad and Nichole, In loving memory of Tom White Sr...,,a very kind man who had the zest of life.. A man who always treated me like one of his own with the utmost of kindness and respect as a wandering kid in the neighborhood..He knew more about my family than I did and shared many stories with me .. I loved every minute of it...He would always stop doing what ever he was doing to chat with me...and give me a good pep...
